so yesterday...




i saw a book bound in human skin!  Leonore and I walked to one of the EIGHT brown libraries (look, see how majestic it looks) and tried to casually ask, "hey, so, can we see the book bound in human skin?"  The book itself was hans holbien's dance of death, bound in the 1800s (?!) and it was filled with various medieval illustrations all centered around the theme of death.  There was another human skin bound book too (from the 1500's) that's a human anatomy book! I think it's neat how the binding is relevant to the book's content and just being able to see things like this feels so neat in general.
