north bend, washington: twin peaks diner

North Bend, Washington houses the Twin Peaks diner - which really does serve the best pie I've ever had - even if out of the three of us, none of us wanted the infamous cherry pie.  Trekking out of Seattle and into a misty, grey small mountain town, did feel like we were in a mysterious television show, and we had all sorts of fun pretending.  On the left, melissa is an apple pie and glass of milk kinda character, me, in the middle, it's coconut creme and warm hot chocolate, and hannah - banana creme pie and coffee.  We're characters in a show, really.

Afterwards we journeyed to Snoqualmie Falls  and quietly watched the falling water.

  1. Oh my gosh, these pictures are stunning! I love the shots with the three of you with your desert/beverage combos-- right away I was trying to place who was Donna and who was Audrey, etc. I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan (I watch it every fall) and I'm a born and bred Washingtonian, so I have no idea why I've never paid a visit to that diner. Also, you all have stellar outfits!

    1. Thanks! A friend decided that from left to right it goes: Donna, Audrey, Maddy. You should go - that pie is amazing!

  2. Okay now you have me wanting cherry pie (that's my kind of character) and another Twin Peaks marathon! I LOVE that show but it's been at least three years since I've watched it! Also, needless to say, these photographs are stunning. I agree with the commenter above wholeheartedly. They're very romantic in a literary sense.
