old time music.

Make- your- own (free??) wood fired pizzas, a lot of really good people, dancing at night, and always lively folk music playing in the background.  What made this place really dreamy though was the land.  The little gathering was set on a retreat space with two ponds, so many gardens and cabins, an outdoor kitchen and dancing space, and a wood fired oven.  It sparked more dreams of owning my own land and all of the magical things that can be hosted and created if you have your own designated block of earth.

pizza & campfire.

Our first stop on the trip was in rural Pennsylvania at Melissa's family's home.  Spending time with family and food and warmth is a comforting thing, especially on a long road trip.  We ordered a 30'' pizza, which was ridiculous.  Her dad and brother built a bonfire in the backyard and we all sat around and enjoyed the spring night air... and sang bad country songs.  The most important thing is how much crying laughter happened over silly stories - there's nothing better.
Plus, soon to come are really beautiful hilly nc bluegrass festival pictures, what?

a brother comes to providence!

He didn't get to see much but, there was a nighttime city overlook and pizza. What else do you need?

PIZZA

Last night it was pumpkin pizza (!!!!) (pumpkin sauce, spinach, carmelized onions, goat cheese) (sounds like everything I like) and a game of battleship plus Greek mountain tea in my tiny living room.
